Every enrolment has a due date, a result and a certificate
Enrolment is administered, never self-service. Each enrolment is a cycle with its own due date; missing it marks the learner absent, and a completed, absent or failed cycle can be re-enrolled as a fresh one.

Can learners enrol themselves?
No. Enrolment is always administered by an instructor or a training manager with a completion due date. The catalogue is browse-only for learners, which keeps training records defensible.
How is course completion decided?
For an online course, by passing the single final assessment after the required lessons are complete — three attempts per enrolment cycle. For a classroom course, by the trainer marking the result after the sessions.
What happens when a due date passes?
The enrolment is marked absent by a daily sweep. It is a terminal state, visible on the roster and in My Learning, and the learner can be re-enrolled into a fresh cycle.
Do certificates expire?
Certificates are issued per enrolment cycle. Refresher training is a new cycle with its own certificate, so the history of every completion is kept.
Can we buy Learning Management without the rest of the platform?
Yes. It can be subscribed on its own, per user seat, and runs in your organization's isolated database like every other module. Other modules can be added later without migration.

From your own instructors. Sheel can also maintain licensed training material through SheelOnline that can be adopted into your catalogue where subscribed.
